Volunteer Expectations
Volunteers are representatives of the Nakusp Music Fest and work with visitors, staff and other volunteers. We expect everyone to be friendly, polite and respectful of each other.
The volunteer t-shirts are $5 and must be worn at all times when on shift.
Volunteers - Benefits
In return for successfully completing your volunteer shifts, you can expect:
1. A weekend pass to the festival site
2. 1/2 price tent camping
4. Meals and refreshments during your shift
5. Entries for fantastic prizes and daily draws
Volunteers - Rules
These are our expectations during your shift:
1. Be on time for your shift.
2. Children are not permitted to accompany volunteers on their shift
3. Be positive and friendly towards other volunteers, visitors and staff
4. Do not leave your shift without talking to your crew supervisor
5. Do not alter your t-shirt and do not wear the shirt when OFF shift
6. Please, no drugs and alcohol while on shift
Notes:
1. Be a team player
2. Be responsible for your own comfort, wear suitable footwear, bring sunscreen, etc.
3. Be positive and friendly towards other volunteers, visitors and staff
4. All volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application form
5. All volunteers must sign the Code of Ethics form when they check in for their first shift
