Carolyn Carruthers from Lucerne Secondary School, won 1st Prize in the Grade 8-12 category for her painting of 2009 NMF performer Sweatshop Union.
This is the first time we have held the contest, hoping to offer youth the chance to win tickets and share their artistic talents.
We intend to add some of the winners’ art to our commemorative book and display at the festival.

3rd Place: Brody Herridge - Nakusp Elementary School
Grade 8 - 12. Prize; 1x Youth ticket to festival
