Q : Is it okay to bring lawn chairs?
A : Yes, but please restrict them to a low-back style in consideration of those who may be sitting behind you.
Q : Coolers?
A : Also okay, but they will be checked for alcohol (which is not permitted, except at the beer garden). And, please, no glass containers (broken glass can be such a major hazard). Bottled water and other drinks must have a sealed cap or they will be poured out by security.
Q : Is the festival to be held indoors or outdoors ?
A : The festival will be held outdoors on the multipurpose field behind the Nakusp Arena. See our site map.
Q : Ticket or Camping refunds?
A : Sorry, we have a policy that does not allow refunds or exchanges.
Q : Are pets allowed?
A : No. Pets will not be allowed on the festival grounds.
Q : Is it okay to bring food and drinks onto the site?
A : It’s fine to bring food and drinks onto the festival grounds, however, if you are bringing a cooler onto the site see the note above (coolers will be checked for alcohol). And, please, no glass containers. Ensure your non-alcoholic beverages are sealed, please.
Q : Where can I park? Is there a cost for parking?
A : There in no parking available at the festival site, but there is free street parking available in Nakusp. Please do not block alleyways, fire hydrants or driveways, or your vehicle will be towed.
Q : How far is the parking from the site?
A : For the most part, it should be a short walk from parking to the festival site. Also, there is to be a shuttle bus service from various locations to the site.
Q : Is there anywhere I can camp near to the site?
A : Yes, Please refer to our camping section on our site for a list of available campsites or call our office @ 1-877-265-5565
Q: Is there any accommodation available other then camping?
A: Yes, please visit the Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce for a listing of accommodations available in our area, http://www.nakusparrowlakes.com
Q : Is there cell phone service in Nakusp?
A : Yes,
But only Bell Mobility and Telus cell phones work in our area!
Q : Will you have first aid stations available?
A : Yes, there is an onsite first aid station located near the main gate entrance.
Q : Is there a beer garden?
A : Yes, there is a beer garden which will be the only place permitting alcohol on the grounds other then the VIP beer garden.
Q : Is there any shade available?
A : Yes, we do provide shade tents in vendor village, kid zone, VIP and main beer garden.
Q : Is the festival “kid” friendly?
A : Absolutely, we have an incredible kid zone available. Check our website for updates on out kid zone area.
Q: How long does it take to drive to Nakusp?
A: Please note that Nakusp is located on the Arrow Lakes and a free ferry ride is required if you are arriving via Vernon of Revelstoke. The wait could be long so please be prepared and bring your own refreshments.
Q: How does my band apply to perform at Music Fest?
